Examples of working with clients: Working with children, special needs, or the elderly.  Teaching a craft, sport or hobby, organizing a book exchange, baking session or checkers tournament (see light labor examples below)
 
  light labor only - indoors
Examples: Filing, shredding, data input, working a phone bank, sorting clothing, assembling personal hygiene kits
 
  light to medium labor - in and/or outdoors
Examples: Planting flowers, a vegetable garden or light yard work, painting, hanging wallpaper, building a bookcase, toy box or shelving
 
  medium to heavy labor - in and/or outdoors
Examples: Assembling playground equipment, installing carpeting, floor tile or repair thereof, lot clearing, laying sod, planting trees

May we send groups of 20 or more of your company’s volunteers to different agencies in order to best accommodate their interests as well as our agencies' volunteer needs?

Photo Consent

Day of Caring is a United Way event that promotes United Way, participating agencies, companies and volunteerism in the community. Photographing and videotaping of the event is inevitable. This consent will authorize the United Way of Kern County Inc., and its agencies to photograph and use photographs of the above-named company employees and/or their families in publications, advertisements and promotional materials. This consent can be revoked at any time prior to publication of said photographs. A copy of this consent is as valid as the original.

The release authorized herein is limited to the following purpose:
