Emerging leaders

OVERVIEW

The Emerging Leaders are community-oriented professionals who want to expand their business and social networks, further develop their skills and talents, and make a significant community impact.

MISSION

Engage and cultivate young, professional, influential UWKC leadership givers in community investment, professional development and social networking opportunities.

CRITERIA

Must be between 21-40 years of age, must be a United Way of Kern County individual Leadership Giver donating at least $500 annually.

OR

Must give a “Family Contribution”  of $750 per household annually (limit two memberships per contribution)

OR

Members also have the Fast Track option of giving $300 the first year and $500 each consecutive year

LEAD.

Become part of your community’s next generation to lead the way. Get to know your peers at networking, sporting and cultural events put on by and exclusively for Emerging Leaders members.

SERVE.

Make a local impact by participating in community service opportunities with United Way of Kern County and partnering agencies. Work side-by-side with community members in events addressing the needs of our community.

GROW.

Take part in individual and professional development oppourtunities, learn more about our community, and train for leadership roles and nonprofit board positions.
