Marketing & Public Affairs Team
United Way of Kern County
is more than just a brand, it’s also an experience and a relationship.
As with most of the processes at United Way, we rely on volunteers to
direct and support our decisions about how we market out brand. The
volunteers that serve on the United Way of Kern County Marketing &
Public Affairs Team have been hand selected from industries and
companies throughout Kern County. This team has been charged with the
task of providing strategic and resource support to United Way as well
as taking the role of United Way of Kern County community champions.
Among their responsibilities, is the task of taking recent opinion poll
results and defining areas of interest and developing a road map to
creating change in those areas. Guided by the system wide United Way
transformation, the team will be helping to get the message out to our
community about how United Way is working right here in Kern County.
The 2006-2007 team has already been formed but there are still
opportunities for Marketing & Public Affairs professionals to get
involved. If you are interested in helping United Way of Kern County
through volunteerism please contact Megan Beeman, Marketing & Special
Events Coordinator at (661) 834-1382 or
