Day of Caring September 2008
United Way of Kern County is focused on improving our community. Day of Caring 2008 will be an opportunity for us and the entire community to do just that. United Way will lead the way for hundreds of volunteers to affect our local community through their efforts that day.

Our Leadership Donor Reception is a night dedicated to saying thank you to all those who give more than $500.00 to United Way annually. The event was held on January 23, 2008.

Prescription discount cards available through United Way
United Way of Kern County has partnered with nearly 100 pharmacies throughout Kern County to provide more than 20,000 free FamilyWize prescription drug discount cards to help people with no prescription coverage lower the cost of their medicine.
