United Way of Kern County is committed to controlling and reducing our operating costs and investing more back into the community, and are very pleased that we were able to create our newsletter in-house.  We were also able to negotiate with our printer to significantly reduce our production costs.  Providing our newsletter in an online format is another way we are controlling costs.  Additionally, we will continue to seek sponsors to underwrite the cost of future volumes of the newsletter.
