United Way of Kern County partners with United Ways of California in advocacy efforts to retain and expandhealth insurance coverage for California's children.

United Way of Kern County's FamilyWize Prescription Drug Discount Program has saved Kern County residents some $4 million on much-needed medicines. With the FamilyWize discount card, you can save 20, 30, even 40 percent on the price of prescriptions. If you don't have prescription drug insurance coverage -- or if your benefits are limited -- visit the FamilyWize page and get your card. There are no income limits; no questions to answer; no registration required.
